About Bryan
Bryan Borzykowski is a Toronto-based writer, editor and blogger, working mainly for business and entertainment publications. He's currently a senior editor at Canadian Business Online and a contributing editor at UR Magazine, a music and technology glossy. Prior to this he was a staff writer at Advisor.ca, a Rogers-owned business website, an associate editor at Canadian Business magazine and the reviews editor at Chart Magazine, a national music publication. Bryan is also the founder and editor-in-chief of The New Pollution, an online music magazine.
Bryan's contributed news and travel stories to the National Post, news to the Winnipeg Free Press and music and entertainment pieces to Maclean's, Chatelaine, Inside Entertainment, AOL Canada, Metro, Marketing Magazine, Exclaim!, NOW and Under The Radar, among other publications. He's appeared on the MuchMoreMusic programs Popaganda and Listed and on CBC News Sunday Night. He's also been interviewed by the Canadian Press and the Christian Science Monitor.
In university Bryan was the arts editor of the Ryersonian (Ryerson University's student paper) and arts editor, features editor and editor-in-chief of the Uniter (University of Winnipeg's student paper).
In 2004 Bryan graduated from Ryerson University's Graduate Journalism program.
